Grass Fed Beef

Castagnasso Farms and Beltane Ranch are pleased to announce the availability of Natural Grass Fed Sonoma Valley Beef

Our cattle are bred, born and raised in the pastures of Sonoma Valley. They are never fed antibiotics,
hormones or grain and will never see a feedlot. Handled with care and raised in a humane and stress-free
environment, our cattle mature slowly on their natural diet of native grasses. Proper grazing helps protect
the beauty of our valley and encourages healthy habitats for native plants and wildlife. Lower in fat and
calories than commercially raised beef, grass-fed beef is higher in omega-3’s, CLA and vitamin E.
Split-quarter, half or whole interests in live animals are now available. Cut, wrapped, freezer-ready beef
will be ready in May through June. We have a limited supply so please reserve early. A quarter will cost
$ $475 and weigh approximately 110 to 125 lbs after being dry-aged, cut and wrapped. Charges for aging
and cut-and-wrap will be an additional .70/lb. USDA inspected at slaughter.
